JV Head Coach
Coach Chris McMullen played baseball at Mansfield High School, graduating in 2005. He was a pitcher at Cisco Junior College in 2006 and Dallas Baptist University from 2008-2009 seasons. After graduation, Coach McMullen coached at freshman and varsity baseball at Arlington High School. At 28 years old, he was hired in 2015 as the head baseball coach at Mansfield Legacy High School, where he coached for 8 seasons with a record of 192-67. His teams made the playoffs all 8 years, finished 1st place for 6 consecutive seasons, and won 4 district championships.
He has been named District Coach of the Year 3 times. In 2022, Coach McMullen led Mansfield Legacy to the 5A state tournament for the 1st time in program history. That same year, Coach McMullen was awarded Coach of the Year by the Dallas Morning News.
Coach McMullen started coaching at Colleyville Heritage High School in 2024. He teaches Algebra 1 and is married to his wife Kalee and has 2 children, Jack (4) and Beau (2).
Coach Jon Pavliska "Coach Pav" graduated from Arlington Lamar High School in 1995 where he played 3 years of football and baseball. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Before coming to GCISD, Coach Pav was the Head Baseball coach at Arlington Oakridge for 8 years.
He started coaching in 2012, and has been with GCISD baseball programs since 2012.
Coach Pav is married to his wife Jeanie and has two children, Kallin (11) and Kinsler (6)

Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Brandon Bounds graduated from Mansfield High School in 2000 where he played football, basketball and baseball. While at Mansfield High, Coach Bounds received numerous accolades including District MVP and All-Area MVP. Coach Bounds was drafted out of high school by the Chicago White Sox, but played 1 season for the defending junior college national champions - Grayson Community College before signing with the White Sox. He spent 4 seasons with the White Sox and while in the minor leagues was selected as an All-Star and won a championship.
Once his playing career ended, Coach Bounds began coaching with Oakridge private school before going to Arlington Martin and was there from 2016-2023 serving 5 years as the varsity assistant and his last 2 was promoted to interim head coach while the previous coach took a leave of absence. In his time at
Arlington Martin, they made the playoffs every year and was 22-6 as the interim head coach.
Coach Bounds started coaching at Colleyville Heritage High School in 2024.
Coach Bounds is married to his wife Amanda, and has 3 children: Kamryn (18), Karsyn(11) and Harbor (4).
Coach Derrick Clement graduated from Keller Central High School in 2015 where he played both football and baseball. He continued his baseball and academic career at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU), where he was a four year scholarship player and graduated with his Secondary Education Degree.
After graduation Coach Clement started his teaching and coaching career at Molina High School in Dallas, Texas. At Molina Coach Clement was a part of two back to back district championship seasons in the 2021 and 2022. In the fall of 2022 Coach Clement transitioned to Brewer High School where he served as the assistant head baseball coach for two years and the varsity running backs coach for the 2023 football season.
Coach Clement started coaching in 2022, and started at Colleyville Heritage High School in 2024.
Nick Uremovich
Assistant Coach
Coach Nick Uremovich graduated from Colleyville Heritage in 2011, playing football and baseball for the Panthers. Coach Uremovich attended North Lake College for one year, then graduated from Kansas State University in 2015. A proud K-State alum, Coach Uremovich got his degree in Secondary Education with certifications in English and Journalism. Previously, Coach Uremovich spent one year at Creekview Middle School, followed by two years at Boswell High School. Along with coaching the freshman baseball team, he is an assistant offensive line coach with the football program and a teacher in the English department.
Coach Uremovich started coaching at Colleyville Heritage High School in 2024.
He has been married to his wife, Caitlin, since January of 2021.
